I founded Richard Findlay Landscape Architect Inc. (“RFLA”) in 1999, after successful employment in larger Landscape Architecture firms for several years prior. Based in Vancouver, BC, RFLA is an award-winning, progressive and detail-oriented firm. I provide a full range of professional landscape architectural consulting services to both public and private sector clientele. My services include:

• Initial in-person consultation
• Facilitate sessions to obtain initial project input
• Community engagement
• Coordination with other design and construction professionals
• Preliminary concept designs
• Detailed design and development
• Permit and approval processes
• Tender services

I feel very fortunate to have designed such an amazing variety of projects for such a broad range of clientele. My practice in landscape architecture is a life-long pursuit to create your perfect outdoor experience. I have been involved in the landscape industry in one facet or another for my entire career:

• Starting in nursery operations;
• Progressing into residential and larger scale contracting with my own design-build firm;
• And now, as a Design Consultant since 1988.
